brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens: The VPL-CX6
accomplishes best-in-class brightness.
The VPL-CX6 adopts Sony original virtual light system with
the all-new super high aperture liquid crystal panel and
newly developed bright 165W UHP lamp.
The all-new elliptical reflector with ultra smooth surface
combined with a concave lens enables very small light
source and accomplish very high light collection
efficiency. This provides the audience with a clear, crisp
and bright image every time.
Intelligent
Auto Setup: Just turn on the power and the following
sophisticated functions are initiated.
Powered lens protector
When power is switched on, the powered lens protector
opens automatically. You will never waste time looking for
a missing lens cover - it is always safe on the projector.
Powered tilt adjuster and Auto Keystone Correction
A power operated tilt adjuster sets the projector's
shooting angle, and keystone distortion is automatically
corrected according to the tilt angle.
The tilt angle is adjustable from the remote control unit
and the new setting retained in memory. Keystone
distortion can be corrected up to a projector tilt angle
of 15 degrees by the remote control unit.
This means that images can be projected with the correct
geometry even where installation space is limited.
The previous setting of each function is held in memory
and recalled automatically.
Smart APA
(Auto Pixel Alignment): No need to adjust your PC
computer or VPL-CX6 for optimum picture performance, the
Smart APA function ensures that the display is
automatically sized and adjusted for optimum picture
performance whatever the input signal.
Auto Input
Search: Images are projected instantly. This is
because the VPL-CX6 automatically detects the presence of
a connected input signal when you connect the devise or
put on the power. You don't have to manually select the
input via the input select button.
Inputs are provided for composite video, S-video and
(Y/R-Y/B-Y)/RGB component signals.
Freeze
Function: The "Freeze" function on the
VPL-CX6 allows the presenter to freeze-frame their
presentation on the projector, allowing the audience to
see only that slide, while the presenter can successfully
toggle their documents on the PC desktop. When ready, the
presenter can depress the freeze function and the audience
is non the wiser!
Memory
Stick Capable: The convenience of Memory Stick media
allows the VPL-CX6 to present PC-Less. PowerPoint®
presentations, BMP, TIFF & JPEG files can be stored
onto the Memory Stick and Memory Stick Plus media and then
presented, without a PC and with great ease on the
projector. PowerPoint presentation are converted to JPEG

allows it to accept composite video, component video or
RGB video input signal. USB Input is also available for
wireless mouse control. The VPL-CX6 accepts signals up to
XGA resolution.

presentation! The VPL-CX6 Digital Zoom feature allows any
designated section of the projected image to be zoomed in
up to 4X larger.
Keystone
