VPL-ES3 is a projector designed for use at work and at
play. It's ideal for presentations, movies and even
PlayStation gaming. Weighing just 6.4 lbs, it is compact
and light enough to be carried anywhere. The VPL-ES3 is
feature rich with native SVGA resolution, 2000 ANSI
lumens and 3 selectable Black Level Adjustment modes to
improve contrast ratio performance. The Intelligent Auto
Set-up feature means that the projector is ready to use
at the press of a button and the choice of six pictures
modes, such as Game, Living, Cinema, Dynamic, Standard
and Presentation, ensures that users can quickly achieve
an optimized image. In addition to a computer (15 pin HD
D-sub) input, the VPL-ES3 is equipped with various video
inputs, including component input and HDTV
compatibility. The VPL-ES3 is a projection device loaded
with options to achieve a multitude of presentation and
home entertainment needs.

The VPL-ES3 will accept a wide range of sources
including high definition images, while the short focal
lens enables a maximum screen-size of up to 300 inches.
The projector is also equipped with a monitor-out
connection, enabling the image to be displayed on a
second screen. It can be integrated with other equipment
thanks to features such as audio output and RS232C for
control. For example, the audio output connector can be
linked up to an external speaker system.
The VPL-ES3 projector also offers a range of security
features, including password protection and
control-panel locking to ensure that unauthorized access
is prevented. In addition, the VPL-ES3 is equipped with
a Kensington lock fitting to prevent physical removal of
the projector from a desk or work surface.
